I don't have a Christmas icon (sadface)
Dec. 24th, 2010 10:56 amFirst of all: Merry Christmas! I hope everyone has a happy Christmas. If you're traveling, I hope the TSA at least bought you a sandwich before they got to third base with you, and you get to wherever you're going and back safely.
Second: For the third time in as many months, our entire fire department has been deployed to the cul-de-sac by our house--twice to the same house! (These three incidents do not include the mini-fire extravaganza from the summer.) I don't know if they have, like, a faulty fire alarm or bad circulation in the kitchen, but twice in the morning, I've walked passed the front door and seen a fleet of emergency vehicles parked in the cul-de-sac, while Old Man Gossip hobbles down the street to check it all out. I saw a fireman carry a stick-like thing, so maybe they locked the keys in the car? In their own driveway? In front of their house? And the entire fire and police department were in the neighborhood and decided to help out...? (Aaaand now we have a bunch of cars fleeing the cul-de-sac. I don't even know.)
I think I need some "Christmas cheer" now. Enjoy!
